All modules of the 2025 Investor Reporting Framework will be available to view and download from our website from 12 February, allowing signatories to prepare for the PRI’s reporting process.

The framework, along with additional resources such as FAQs, will be accessible ahead of the reporting window opening in May.

We have minimised changes to this year’s framework to support the transition to foundational reporting as part of our Progression Pathways programme.

In 2025, signatories are required to complete the ‘Senior Leadership Statement’ – or SLS module – and a new module, called Other Responsible Investment Reporting Obligations (ORO).

If your organisation reported publicly and met the minimum requirements in previous years, completing the rest of the framework (beyond the SLS and ORO modules) is voluntary.

However, there are many benefits to reporting in full. Reporting helps signatories to:

  • facilitate learning and development;
  • assess their investment practices;
  • strengthen accountability;
  • demonstrate leadership.

Last year, even for signatories who did not have to complete a full report, the majority still chose to do so.

ORO

What is the ORO module?

The ORO module consists of two indicators, asking signatories to disclose their other regulatory and voluntary responsible investment obligations. The responses are not assessed and will be made public in signatories’ Transparency Reports.

The information provided will help the PRI better understand the reporting demands faced by signatories and guide the future development of PRI reporting within the Progression Pathways model.

What is the Senior Leadership Statement?

The SLS module is signed by senior leadership, CEO, CIO or similar, and helps organisations provide an overview of their approach and achievements on responsible investments. This module is mandatory, quick to fill out, and not scored.
