The PRI has finalised the 2021 reporting dataset after implementing signatories’ requested changes in the Reporting Tool and completing additional quality checks. The PRI will now begin preparing for the launch of 2021 public Transparency Reports (for investors and service providers) and 2021 private Assessment Reports (for investors), as well as generating aggregated insights for all signatories using the 2021 dataset.
Last summer, the PRI Board communicated its decision to engage in a comprehensive data collection and review process to improve the quality of 2021 outputs. All signatories that reported in 2021 had an opportunity to review their reports and communicate changes needed to data errors in their reports. In March, we re-uploaded signatories’ amended 2021 Transparency Reports privately onto the Data Portal. Although the PRI had significant internal checks in place to ensure the amendments signatories requested had been made accurately, we provided an additional two-week period for signatories to flag potential concerns with their amended reports before finalising the 2021 dataset.
This two-week period for signatories to flag concerns ended on 28 March. The PRI has now finalised the 2021 reporting dataset after implementing signatories’ requested changes in the Reporting Tool and completing additional quality checks. With the 2021 dataset finalised, the PRI will begin preparing for the launch of 2021 public Transparency Reports (for investors and service providers) and 2021 private Assessment Reports (for investors). We intend to launch these outputs in June 2022. Prior to the launch of public reports and assessments in June, the PRI will conduct additional testing and quality assurance to ensure confidence in the 2021 reporting outputs. The PRI will also begin generating aggregated insights for all signatories based on the finalised 2021 reporting dataset.
The PRI sincerely thanks all signatories for their collaboration and their commitment to improving the quality of the 2021 dataset. We will continue to share reporting-related news on R&A Updates as we prepare for the launch of 2021 reporting outputs in June, so please bookmark the page and check back regularly.
