Policy toolkit

Government and policy maker interest in sustainable finance and investment has substantially increased over the past decade. The PRI recognises that driving investments towards sustainable, inclusive, and net-zero economies will require updating and aligning global regulatory frameworks.

The PRI, the World Bank, and Chronos are working to produce toolkits intended to support government policy makers and regulators in implementing foundational reforms to build a sustainable financial system. These reforms are aimed at shifting the regulatory baseline to better support the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
