19 September 2024, London: The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) has appointed Paul Van Eynde as its new Chief Marketing and External Affairs Officer, joining the organisation in September. A newly created role in the Executive team, Paul will take on executive leadership of the newly formed Marketing and External Affairs function. In this role, he will oversee the organisation’s global marketing, corporate communications and internal communications strategies.

Paul brings a wealth of experience and insights that will be critical in driving the next phase of our growth and leadership in the wider industry, and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
With over 30 years of experience in the asset management industry, Paul has held multiple leadership positions across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. He brings deep expertise in both asset and private wealth management from his tenure at ING Investment Management and NNIP. In 2019, Paul founded Fusion Partners, a private equity firm focused on Euro-Chinese growth opportunities. After a successful start and its acquisition by Capricorn Partners, one of Belgium’s largest privately held investment platforms, Paul integrated the fund as Investment Director, while leading the firm through a strategic repositioning.
From 2022 to 2024, Paul served as the Global Chief Marketing Officer for BNP Paribas Asset Management, a signatory of the PRI. In this role, he strengthened the company’s global reputation as a leading advocate of sustainable investment. Paul holds a Master’s Diploma in Business Engineering and a Master’s in International Marketing Management from the University of Hasselt.
