The UNEP FI Global Roundtable brings together banks, insurers, investors, policymakers, and civil society to shape the sustainable finance agenda and catalyze action across the financial system. With a 30+ year history, it serves as a platform for knowledge sharing and strategic dialogue, helping align the financial industry with global goals like the Sustainable Development Goalsand the Paris Agreement.

The Global Roundtable fosters collaboration on key issues such as accelerating climate action, financing nature, and promoting financial inclusion. It also addresses the complexities of the evolving finance landscape, facilitating peer exchange, capacity building, and the development of practical approaches for managing risk and impact.

Additionally, it serves as a touchpoint for global frameworks like the Principles for Responsible Banking, Principles for Sustainable Insurance and net-zero alliances for asset owners, banks and export credit agencies, whilst driving transformative change across the financial industry. This year, UNEP FI’s partnership with Building Bridges for its fifth edition will create an action-packed week, bringing together diverse discussions, networking, and initiatives under one roof. Participants will move seamlessly between sessions, enhancing collaboration and amplifying their impact on the sustainable finance agenda.
