PRI response to the Sustainability Standards Board of Japan (SSBJ) consultation on revised proposals relating to the calculation period for the reporting of metrics.
The SSBJ is considering the feedback submissions made to the consultations for the Exposure Draft in July 2024, aiming for issuance by the end of March 2025. In its deliberations, the SSBJ has identified that the preliminary conclusions on how to address the calculation period for reporting metrics requires another round of public feedback. The PRI welcomes the SSBJ’s proposals to require alignment of calculation periods with that of statutory financial reports, including through adjusted calculations.
