The 2024-27 strategy comes amid a rapidly developing environment with multiple dynamic forces shaping the responsible investment landscape, including progress on global sustainability issues, geopolitical shifts and changes in investment markets and the responsible investment ecosystem.
It also comes at a time of increasing diversity in our signatory base, where signatory interpretations of responsible investment vary based on their mandates and geography, among other factors.
The PRI’s new strategic plan responds to the changing world around us and how we will support progress in ways that acknowledge our diverse signatory base. It reflects our steadfast commitment to deliver the mission and continues our signatory-centric approach centred around our six Principles.
We are aiming to advance responsible investment globally through our visionary outlook and to support signatories to employ responsible investment strategies, aligned with their individual investment goals, objectives and fiduciary responsibilities.
