United States Network
With the world’s largest economy and deepest financial markets, the United States is crucial to building a sustainable global financial system. In that undertaking, US investors – asset owners, investment managers and professional service providers – can choose to adopt and implement the PRI as a means to incorporate environment, social and governance (ESG) issues into investment analysis and decision-making and encourage other finance industry actors to do the same.
The US is one of the biggest signatory networks within the PRI and accounts for nearly 15% of total signatories, including 8.5% of asset owners and 17% of investment managers. US signatories are among the most active in PRI engagements and work streams. The US Network seeks to raise the profile of the PRI in this important market.
